The Parents' School
In 2016, Veronica Alvarado Jovél, the Director of the Básico (Middle School), brought to life a long-held dream of Access Education.
That dream aimed to foster meaningful engagement, establish connections, and inspire the parents in the La Union community. The Parents' School, a free program, was introduced, offering literacy skills training and conducted two evenings per week.
Witnessing the progress made by the parents fills us with immense pride, and their dedication to learning is truly admirable.
Picture a mother, experiencing the joy of reading to her child at bedtime—a cherished moment they can now share together, for the very first time.
