Elizabeth (Liz) Sawicki is an accomplished VP Level executive in land development with over 29 years of experience in industrial, commercial and high and low rise residential and land development with niche skills in Joint Venture Partnerships and Management, Board Representation, Developer Group Cost Sharing and Front End Financing Agreements with various levels of governments.

Liz has worked for public and private companies and has hands on tactical development project experience in the GTA, City of Toronto and Region of Waterloo.

Most recently as VP of Land Development at Monarch Corporation and was accountable for running the Land Development Division which included the management of the Land pipeline, land acquisition, planning, servicing, fiscal and schedule performance and risk management.

Liz was responsible for the supply of land to the house building divisions of the company that produced 12,000 residential homes. Liz led the creation and implementation of Monarch’s signature multi phased master planned communities in Oakville (Bronte Creek), Markham (West Cathedral), and Caledon (Mayfield West).

She also was a member of various Joint Venture Boards associated with projects she had been involved in. Liz is often called upon to advise the Ontario Homes Builder’s Association and the Building Industry and Land Development Association.

Elizabeth was educated at the University of Waterloo with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning. She and her family reside in Toronto. Liz has an interest in shelter, children’s issues and education.
